O RAMMSTEIN é uma banda original da Alemanhã e foi formada em 1993 com os seus seis integrantes Richard Kruspe(guitarra), Paul Landers(guitarra), Till Lindermann(vocal), Oliver Riedel(Baixo), Christoph Schneider(bateria) e Flake Lorenz(tecladista). O Nome de Rammstein veio devido a uma acidente aereo da USAF que teve na cidade alemã Ramstein em 1988, foi três aviões italianos que colidiram e acabou matando cerca de 100 pessoas. Construiu "a loyal" seguindo o rock industrial germânico nativo em shows ao vivo (o vocalista Linderman um nadador olimpico é conhecido por atear fogo no próprio corpo durante as apresentações)
